Seldovia Trip: Animals

Out in the Bay, there are tons of different kinds of wildlife. I was hoping we might see a whale or two, but we weren't that lucky. However, I did see more sea otters than I ever have on one trip, so that was great!

While we were at Gull Island, this harbor seal popped up a couple of times.

Here he/she is again, hanging out with the sea gulls.

It's a sea otter! This one is holding it's pup. Our captain told us the babies are born in April, so they are pretty big now. I was disappointed that I couldn't get one with the baby's face, but it will have to do.

2 more otters we came across. They were a bit more active than the mom and baby.

Just look at the one on the left's cute face!
