Monday night, the atmosphere was very smoky from forest fires around. I couldn't help taking photos of the sun and the trees.

I ventured out at 10:45 to photograph the sunset. It turned into more of a learning time for me, than a real productive time for photography, but that is ok.

Lupine and grass in front of the setting sun.

Beautiful captures!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry there are wildfires there! I hate them! But it is amazing how eerie and beautiful the light can be filtered through the smoke and red haze.
ReplyDeleteForest fire sunsets are both the best and the worst. The fact that there's a fire just makes me sick sometimes, but the particulate matter makes for stunning colors.
ReplyDeleteThe lupine grass in front of the setting sun took my breath away. It's so unique.
Love the lupine with the sunset, it created such vibrant and pretty colors!
