Back!

Hello everyone!! C and I are back from our trip and recuperating. I am editing the 2500+ photos I took (it will be less than that when I am finished) and trying to get the unpacking done. We both start work on Thursday (booo...I don't want to start 5 days a week yet!). But the weather has been gorgeous here - 60 degrees or so.

We are sunburnt, turning tan, and happy to be home! The vacation recaps will start shortly!

In Hawaii!

Hello everyone! This is our first true opportunity to have internet. Long story short, we are breaking down and paying for it.

We are having a good time, just wishing we had more time to figure out what else to do. We aren't tan yet....will work on that today. Our feet are killing us from walking everywhere, but it's been good. We went to the zoo, aquarium, a huge shopping mall, and on an island tour. It's been pretty awesome. The cameras have been working overtime! And Caleb is having fun! (as we knew he would)

We are literally like 2 minutes from the beach in our hotel, so that is pretty awesome.

We are off to Cali tomorrow for all day traveling :( Ah well. Anyway, not much else to say. We figured out the bus system finally. :P

1 week left!

We are going on our trip in a week. And I have been getting more and more excited as the time got closer. But yesterday, it really hit me that we are leaving. And the more I think about how little time there is left, the butterflies in my stomach are starting to churn. I hadn't really ever realized how much work goes into making sure everything is taken care of when you leave. This is our first real trip together since our honeymoon, and we didn't have the house together then. But I have to pay several bills, clean, get a friend to check our mail, give contact information to my parents, etc. Not to mention planning our itinerary when we are on our trip. Once again, I have a new appreciation for all my parents took care of. Once these nit picky details are taken care of, I can't wait to go!

I finished up one of my college classes last night. It was supposed to end this coming Tuesday, but my teacher finished us up a half hour early last night! This leaves 2 more. 1 I will finish today, and the other....I'm not sure. Sunday afternoon at the latest. The end is in sight and I'm in go-go-go mode to be finished so I can focus on the stuff in the paragraph above!

Obviously I haven't been posting much this past week. I'd love to say it's because of school, but it's actually been because it's nice enough to do things outside!

I'm off to finish class number two. I'll update again soon!

Spring break Laziness

Today has been a very lazy day. Youth group is a movie night tonight, so we decided to stay home and recuperate from my birthday. I have basically spent the entire day on the computer...what else is new?! We finally purchased our tickets for our vacation today. Ended up saving about $200 from what I was initially looking at, too. So that is a huge relief for me. We looked into some more attractions to go see, as well. The next step is looking into hotels. I spent several hours today reading reviews...which are kind of a pain. People can be so critical of nit picky things that I really don't care about. I think we've decided on one, but I'm not positive yet.

I also spent a fair amount of time looking at camera bags on the internet. I was looking at big ones that can hold everything - lenses, battery chargers, etc, or just a simple bag that holds the camera and a lens. I think that is what I am leaning towards at that point. It's very obnoxious, though, when I don't have the camera yet, and all the options are different. I am tempted to drive up the road to go check out what Freddies has...but I'm not going to have a chance to for a few more days.

I've done a bit of scrapbooking since it's spring break. It's so nice :) But now I'm dreading Monday when I have to be productive again.

So that has been the sum of my Wednesday. Hope it hasn't been too boring :)
