Fog and snow on the beach at sunset. There was over a foot of snow on the beach and people were still driving through it. *shakes head*
I love sunset light.

Spray
The waves on the beach were enormous all day, and they continued to be amazing at sunset. This does not really convey the huge size, but I still liked it.

Frozen Evening
Taken when the ice was all over the beach. It made for tricky shooting and traversing, and it was freezing cold to boot!

Chilly Chunks
Taken on Christmas Eve at sunset, the ice chunks have that signature blue hue that is adored and sought after.

Beach Set
Another lovely sunset in Homer. Unfortunately, this one was at temperatures around 15F, so the time for shooting is limited to how long it takes the fingers to freeze! That has become a trend the past couple weeks :)

A Rush of Color
Thursday sunset was not too exciting until the sun was gone, when a burst of pink drew a crowd to the beach.

Glassy Sea
Taken at sunset, but there was no sunset on the horizon, just clouds. The sky was not at midday even though it kind of appears that way.

Exposed
The tides on Cook Inlet have a very large range. The beach is always different every six hours, and I was intrigued by these boulders, waiting to be covered by the tide again.

Jet Stream
It was a cloudless sunset, but the almost nonexistent waves of the ocean made it essential for me to stay out in the cold. I'm not incredibly happy with this composition, but I do like the jetstream. I wish it was in a more interesting direction or place, though :)

Bootprint
After I shot for a bit, I stepped back and saw that my boot had left a permanent indentation in the wet sand. I thought it was fun, and wanted to show it :)
