About to Take Flight

A friend and I were building a sand castle far down the beach when this eagle landed. Of course, I did not have my long telephoto lens with me. I did have my 100mm macro lens, so I started wandering towards the eagle. When the eagles do land on the sand of the beach, humans are often a long ways off. This one eyed me warily for a bit, and took off soon after this shot was taken.
