All Alaskans can think Spring is on its way. Many here in Homer assumed February was the start, since it was so warm out. I was not fooled then, but I think I am starting to get fooled now. After our blizzard, we have continued to get more snow, but the temperature has risen nicely. It has been in the 40s this week, but this morning, I woke up to new snow. Nevertheless...we won't see the true disappearance of the snow until at least mid April!
This shot was taken on the beach in Homer. It was a gorgeous afternoon, with brilliant blue skies, but tell tale snow still on the cliffside!

Exact same here- temps in the 40s over the last few days and fresh snow today. Blah.
