Fiddlehead Fern

I am thrilled to have some ferns in my backyard, and it has been fun to watch these ones grow and slowly uncurl themselves

    They are the coolest plant. I don't see them here. I see a lot of them down in Valdez and the Anchorage area, but maybe they don't grow in the interior? Or perhaps I just haven't looked hard enough. I like the way they curl too.
