More Lupine

I thought that summer was about over! I found this lupine plant near Soldotna last week, and was amazed to find it nearby a nearly finished fireweed plant. Incredible.

After the Rain

I was driving home from Soldotna this past week when I saw a mother and her children playing in a field. I quickly turned around after I saw the field was full of vibrantly colored wild flowers! I didn't get too many amazing shots, but I really enjoy this one.

Reflection from the Moon

The almost full moon created an incredible reflection on Kachemak Bay last week. I was fortunate to be able to capture it for almost an hour.

Spit After Sunset

The moon was incredibly compelling last week, and so I was able to shoot a little after dark, something I usually don't attempt. It was unfortunately windy, so the fireweed on both sides of the image was shaking a lot, and I shot a lot of duds. This was the one with the least amount of motion.

Twilight

The almost full moon last week brought about some incredible scenes, which I will share in the coming days. Not the least was the fireweed.
